Creativity, the healing arts and thinking outside the box has been our life for as long as either one of us can remember. Phoenix, Mountain Mama, started her herbal journey as a young girl in the golden hills of California. Joseph, Mountain Warrior, started his marital arts/self defense journey in the rainforest of Oregon. When we met we knew we had found our true other half. For the past 26 years we have been creating a Iife together full of the healing arts and creativity. From training, developing and teaching a martial arts system to building a cob house . From beautiful gardens, harvesting herbs, making medicine, creating chemical free skin care, to huge post and beam wood projects. From herbal formulas for health and beauty to Chi Kung (Qi Gong) energy work and so much more. Misty Mountain Thyme is our attempt to share our life healing arts with you.
